Last Trip Home
(Hackathon Solo Project)
Guided by the spirit who leads the deceased through the limbo between death and the afterlife, you travel through the decrepit remains of the city you grew old in. In this final stretch of your last trip home, you are confronted with key landmarks of your life and reflect on the cherished memories which they remind you of.

The entire game was created by myself in 24 hours for RIT's 11th BrickHack Hackathon. The game was created in Godot, the shader was adapted from a public model and transformed from a screen wrapper into an in-game renderer, and the assets are a combination of my own work in Blender and free-to-use assets.
My inspirations for the art style and theme came from a project I had wanted to work on a long time ago, and the game Outlast.
The story was inspired by my experiences playing games such as "What Remains of Edith Finch", "Outer Wilds", and "The Stanley Parable".

Metronome - Song Select UI/UX
My team and I collaborated over the course of two months to create a cross-platform rhythm game for a national competition. The name of the game is Metronome and it is a scrolling rhythm game that was designed after the Boston MBTA Maps.
My role was the Project Lead and Lead UI/UX Designer & Artist. I spent weeks planning and designing an effective and eye-catching system for the game's song select. Featuring animated and layered designs I created, along with scripts to interact with the game's audio files, I aimed to bring the game to life through the lens of an arcade cabinet.

Yap Meter (Discord Bot Activity)
Developed a Javascript application to gauge the volume of a voice call in a discord vc. The application uses my own Discord Bot that I use for learning and developing with the Discord API. The bot sits in a voice call and listens to the audio, translating it into Decibels and feeding it to my application to translate it to the volume Gauge.

I was inspired to make this project both by the meme, but also by my astonishment at how loud voice calls can get when there are more than only a few people in the call. I created this entire project over a long weekend as my introduction to the Discord API and Bot development.
